Jordan and Jessica were married and celebrated at Boatwerks Waterfront Restaurant - one of my current favorite venues in Holland, Michigan.
Look at that lace on Jessica’s gown; isn’t it the best? I love the large motif laces over the darker lining; it just adds so much drama and this photo shows it off so well. Jessica’s gown is from BHLDN by Anthropologie and this is what she shares about finding the one:
“I had imagined the perfect bridal gown for so long, but I tried to start my gown shopping experience with a wide-open mind, and I am so happy I did. When arriving at BHLDN, my stylist pulled several dresses that I had requested in advance, but she had one specific dress in mind for me to try on. It was the first dress I tried, thinking I’d get it out of the way, and it was so elegant. They put a veil in my hair, and I teared up. Looking at my mom and soon-to-be mother-in-law, and seeing the tears in their eyes, I knew it was the one. The first dress I tried, that I didn’t even pick out, was the perfect dress, and I spent the best day of my life wearing it.”
Jessica used our bridal seamstress, Sherry, for her alterations and we also pressed the gown to have it just perfect for the trip down the aisle.
“ I was so nervous to have anyone alter my dress, because the lace was so detailed and difficult to work with, but GLWGS had so many amazing ratings online. I knew I could trust these ladies with this delicate dress. They worked magic on my dress, and I was so comfortable and confident on my wedding day. “
